August 28, 2011 Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association responded 41 calls during Hurricane Irene, including 22 basement pump-outs, 8 trees/wires down calls, and 4 ambulance calls!
September 20, 2008 Please join the Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association in its housing and centennial celebration Saturday September 27th, 2008, beginning at 11am.
August 19, 2008: 910 Jamestown Rd. Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association was dispatched to 910 Jamestown Rd for a vehicle accident with fire into a house. 14-2 was sent in as a RIT and ended up dropping a line. See pictures here. August 19, 2008: Sproul Rd. SFPA was dispatched as RIT to Sproul Road for a fire at Mr. Car Wash. The fire was contained and damage was kept to a minimum. 53-2, 53-7, 44-1, Rescue 58 were on scene.
