to the new Swarthmore
Fire and Protective Association website. We are a group of volunteers
who serve the community of Swarthmore Borough and the surrounding communities through our fire
department and EMS, responding to over 500 emergency calls per year. The company began serving the borough in 1894 and was incorporated in 1908.

For 2005 the copany ran 237 fire calls and 660 ambulance calls.
This year: as of 187 fire and 446 EMS calls that were responded to by members of our company.
